New Landscape

We recently completed a landscape in Bosqueville for a real U.S. Federal Marsall, which was a thrill for me since I channel Dale Evans and Annie Oakley.  Boy, did he ever have some great stories.  He and his lovely bride-to-be redid a building to use for events.  With a facade and some landscape they turned what was once an eye sore to the community into a desirable place for the whole community to use and to be proud of.

We designed four cedar trellis to frame the building and planted some quick growing crossvines to give privacy.

we added some pretty containers

Made a path for walking

and added some color to the side of the building

Eeeek, eeeek, & eeeeeeeek!!!!!!!!!

  Love this book!

That was the little bookworm in me yesterday at the bookstore when I found this great new book.   Having read 10 zillion jillion gardening books they all start to look alike.  Its hard to find something new and inspiring.  Many publications often repeat the same pictures and stories.  I crave good gardening books that have creativity and valuable information.  Sometimes I just need something to light a fire under me. This book has really got my creative jucies flowing.

If you like vegetable and flower gardening, this book is for you.  You will love the way Pamela Crawford combines veggies and flowers for stunning combinations.  I hope you like it as much a I do.
